DENNIS GELBAUM

Septien Entertainment Group COO/CMO

I have two favorite quotes:
“Those who tell stories shape society” Plato
“When you have the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance!” Lee Ann Womack

Dennis is the former Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Creative Director of Tourdesign Creative Services (a multimedia creative and production resource company – a Live Nation company) where he worked with the biggest touring acts, major record labels, top radio stations and live event venues in the world. “Nobody has sold more tickets to more live events – NOBODY!”

Dennis joined Septien on August 1st, 2016 as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. As the COO, Dennis provides the leadership, management and vision that is necessary to ensure that Septien has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and people systems in place to effectively grow and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. As the CMO, Dennis has accountability for all inbound and outbound marketing plans/programs, sales strategies, partnership development, and customer service/retention to strengthen and unleash the power of the Septien brand. Dennis also conducts in-depth market and customer research, creates and implements innovative advertising, marketing, promotional and interactive programs to drive customer and brand value, and maintains and establishes important industry relations.

Dennis is an international award winning Creative Director, Producer, Director, Writer, Author, and Inventor. Check out the trailer for his novel, “Beyond Reasonable Doubt” at https://youtu.be/nU72BV5p–8 and for his book of poetry and original illustrations at https://youtu.be/07Xfe-UsOYo In 2010, Dennis was featured in “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading”, by Danielle Hampson & Don McCauley. “I am a business and creative strategist – not only seeing what is, but understanding what isn’t and what can be. I believe in the power of storytelling – understanding how to communicate to a specific, target market, telling an engaging and compelling story, creating original multimedia content and producing interactive brand funded experiences. I believe in the power of design to strengthen and unleash the power of a brand. I am a branding strategist – clearly seeing the big picture five years in advance, while understanding the immediate deliverables that need to be accomplished. With an emphasis on brand performance and inbound digital marketing strategies, I know how to digitally promote a business. I am helping our young music artists (and Septien) BRAND BETTER!”

Prior to joining Septien, Dennis was the CEO/Managing Partner of ramp it up entertainment, a full service creative boutique and brand experience agency and multimedia production company where he focused on helping clients define and refine their creative and business strategies, producing brand funded content and live, interactive branding experiences. Dennis also created Production Concierge Services, connecting corporations and agencies to the finest pre-production, production and post-production services and resources in the world (in more than 100 countries) and providing clients access to Frenchway Travel, an in-house, full service, industry focused travel and incentive agency.

As the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Creative Director of Input Group North America – Input Group s.p.a. is the 17th largest event company in the world – http://www.exhibitoronline.com/news/article.asp?ID=11956 – and Managing Partner of ramp it up entertainment, Dennis led and managed teams of creative, production, business development and logistical strategists. “From the theatrical to the practical, a single speaker to a symphony orchestra, hundreds of performers simultaneously juggling power tools while riding unicycles, suspending seventy-five feet long dragon kites from the ceiling of a 10-story atrium, to projecting laser/animated images onto the sides of buildings, I bring a little magic to each and every event and to every second of multimedia content I produce.”

Dennis has worked with clients all over the world, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to conceive and execute brand funded content and interactive branding experiences for two to hundreds of thousands of participants. Dennis has created, written, directed and/or produced hundreds of TV (received the Cannes Lion for a series of commercials for BBDO/Black & Decker) and radio commercials, print ads, billboards, promos, trailers, music videos, live multimedia interactive events (concerts, tours, festivals, meetings, product introductions, in-store promotions and museum exhibits), corporate awareness and fundraising films/videos and hours of long & short form programming and content for theatrical release, broadcast, web and mobile.

Dennis creates innovative, interactive and multimedia content | experiences that motivate, inspire and change how people talk, act, think and feel about brands. They are the result of more than 20 years of experience and expertise in the development of creative and business strategies, managing digital projects, multimedia and global event production, sponsorship activations, data, analytics, user experience, media and technology. These experiences are supported by the use of traditional, digital, social and mobile media, as well as new technologies and invented media.

“I have a deep understanding and knowledge of the current digital landscape, including website development, online community development, online video programs and campaigns, emerging media, and trends in interactive experiences, social media and mobile.
