Recording studios are all alike, right? Yes, until you examine the engineers, technicians, track producers, and vocal producers that define an artist within a reasonable budget. There is no longer a need for big, glamorous looking recording studios. The same exact sound, quality, and final product can be produced with virtual instruments that, most of the time, cannot be distinguished from live instruments. Our library of samples spans all music styles and our software is upgraded continually to take advantage of bundles of new contemporary sounds.
For our rock purists, we offer complete live tracks with or without electronics. All of our session players are handpicked per project to ensure the solidarity of the sound. Our new studio will be comprised of a maximum isolation for balanced acoustics, two vocal iso booths, an editing room, and large control room.
Producers are a dime a dozen. Most know little and promise much and the artist can often fall prey to “studio jargon”. Our producers have logged over 25,000 hours EACH working with artists to hone they craftsmanship of the musician. Beware of individual producers who care more about the “payment” rather than finding your sound.
The main difference in the sound of a recording is the quality of samples, the tenacity and exactness of the players, and the ears of the producer. If a producer has a plethora of sounds in his library and an ear to understand placement of those sounds within a certain style, that producer is a very seasoned artist himself. Here at SEG Entertainment, we provide a complete turn-key operation from start to finish.
